Print Center helps in managing the printing and generation of reports at the server of hospital. Printing, faxing and emailing of the transcribed documents can be arranged using Print Center. The transcribed documents can also be transferred via FTP to the server of the clients.

The main goal of Print Center is to either print/fax/upload to FTP or email the signed transcribed documents from Telestar Server, which contains vast amount of data stored and maintained by hospitals. A collection of data management tools are allotted which can set criteria upon which the documents can be processed. Doctors can also set a specific format for the file before printing. Based on these criteria, print station will process documents.

Doctors or any medical professional can set the processing of their documents either by automatic method or by Manual method.

Automatic Method

The total process is automated in Print Center using a time-table synchronized tool called Scheduler. This tool loads at pre-determined intervals and observes each criterion. On basis of the criteria, xml settings, print/fax/email/ftp functions are carried on.

Manual Method

In the Manual Method, the users themselves print/mail/fax/upload to FTP manually.
