Time Coding / Time Stamping:
Time coding or time stamping is the process of adding time references to audio or video content. This helps further identification, editing and synchronization. If you require your transcripts to be time coded, we can arrange for a visible time code every 30 seconds of the video. If the footage is of an interview, then we can insert a time code at the beginning of the answer and every 30 seconds thereafter. Click here to know more.
Full Continuity:
The term “Full Continuity” transcript means a precise detailed cut-by-cut transcription that has the entire dialog, music, cues, credits, on-screen graphics, scene descriptions, time code and feet or frame as applicable. |

- A Cut-by-Cut spotting will have a time code mark at the beginning and end of the edit.
- Dialog spotting is very pronounced and indicates that each line of dialog is marked with time code at the beginning and end of each shot.
Reality TV:
Reality TV refers to the Television shows which are unscripted and where the audio is completely unstructured. The transcription of reality shows is converting the audible part of the sound to text. An attempt will be made to identify each person speaking and brief descriptions will be put in of the happenings. The descriptions are general and are not “B-Roll”. We do not provide “B-Roll” logging. Only relevant audio will be transcribed. Talk between the production crew about technical issues will not be transcribed.
